Like most 8 owners I am pretty picky when it comes to fit and finish. I have an issue on my car that I've seen on a few others and was wondering just how prevalent is this defect. 10 inches to the left of center of the "M" logo on the front fascia there is a small out dent (mine is bigger than most) caused by contact with the air intake duct assembly on the other side. My car was produced 9/03. Does anyone else see this on their 8?

My RX-8 does not have this dent in the hood/ part below the hood. I just checked.

You mean here? Nope, no dent, just a dirty car. Mine was also 09/03 mfg and even the same color.

The dealer fixed most of it last week. You can barely see it now. With a little heat it should go away completely. I don't know how to post the picture.
