So I'm running a Tsunami nose and Autobahn sideskirts which I love. Racing Beat wing also. Looking for a new rear diffuser/underspoiler to complete the package. My autobody shop doesn't recommend removing the crunch bar which most full bumpers require and I'm too old also to take the risk.
So since I'm going with a diffuser. Any suggestions to complete my look? Mazdaspeed? Veilside? RMagic? Repros fine too...

time4akshun 08-27-2009, 02:51 PM Damn. Slow day on the forum. Bizump...
Atilla 08-27-2009, 02:55 PM IIRC there aren't too many options. I remember seeing an aftermarket one by Re-Amemiya that was ok looking. There's always the ms one too but that's all i can remember off-hand.
It's tough now that i think about it - there aren't too many options because our mufflers sit so low. Wish i could help more tho - i was really interested in looking for actual, functional diffusers and not like side add-on's a while ago but couldn't find one aside from ms and the proto re-amemiya. :dunno:
J8635621 08-27-2009, 03:12 PM Pretty sure the bumpers can be made to work with the bar still in there.
pdxhak 08-27-2009, 03:41 PM R-Magic would work with your setup :)
Alucard 08-27-2009, 11:55 PM I would say R-Magic or Ings....

time4akshun 08-28-2009, 01:25 AM rmagic in the lead...
pdxhak 08-28-2009, 01:31 AM For a full bumper replacement there is Fabulous.
time4akshun 08-28-2009, 10:45 AM Love Fabolous and Kenstyle but the crush bar removal is required for BOTH!! Confirmed by manufacturer...
time4akshun 08-28-2009, 11:01 AM Rmagic seems best option right now

pdxhak 08-28-2009, 11:06 AM japanparts.com is having a sell now as well so you can save 10% :) I believe you can order r-magic parts painted as well...
rodjonathan 08-28-2009, 11:08 AM i say mazdaspeed or stock
Atilla 08-28-2009, 11:09 AM just outta curiousity but looking at the rmagic rear - it seems that the exhaust shroud area is kinda limiting the size of the exhaust tips doesn't it? What's the largest size exhaust tip you can have w/that rear? (man, if i didn't put the word 'exhaust' in there the entire sentence would've changed lol)

i've seen Agency Power/Exotic Speed fit with it.
Atilla 08-28-2009, 11:40 AM really? and no melted shrouds?
nvrfalter 08-28-2009, 12:01 PM i dunno about the r-magic rear for you. its pretty curvacious and your front and sides arent really rounded at all. i love the tsunami because of how jagged and aggressive it is and that rear just doesnt look like a match to me. maybe it will when its on the car :dunno:
time4akshun 08-28-2009, 02:18 PM Good point nvr
nuke0907 08-28-2009, 03:26 PM really? and no melted shrouds?
g3tr3ddy2gr3ddy has that setup.
Easy_E1 08-28-2009, 03:44 PM Here's a couple of the Mazdaspeed.

time4akshun 08-28-2009, 04:54 PM Easy E. Pic links broken!!
J8635621 08-28-2009, 05:12 PM ? I've been able to see them this whole time.
Symbioticgenius 08-28-2009, 06:03 PM anyone have pics of a car without a diffuser? how bad would it look or run (at high speeds) without one?
time4akshun 08-28-2009, 08:00 PM Nice easy e
thebiggdaddy 08-28-2009, 08:28 PM With the flow of your car, I would go with the INGs. Your front bumper is aggressive, so the INGs rear would be perfect.
time4akshun 08-29-2009, 12:59 AM Daddy,
With you on the aggresiveness of the mudgards. Kinda bumbed though that the rear lower middle diffuser stays the same on the 8 with these..

Alucard 08-29-2009, 06:12 PM I would have to say the Ings kit would be the best bro... as tony (nvfalter) stated the r-magic is more curvy... the Ings is more aggressive...
Just remember... not many people have the Ings kit... so it would be rare like your front... no one locally has either.... ;)
Alucard 08-29-2009, 06:18 PM ^^ I was thinking that also... but he would have to change his exhaust also
time4akshun 09-02-2009, 05:11 PM Looks like iNGS is the move... Time to track it down now. If anyone has a good/cheap source let me know...

pdxhak 09-02-2009, 06:06 PM I love the INGS rear pieces but they are not a diffuser or under spoiler :) But I think they would look with your car.
kersh4w 09-03-2009, 03:04 PM if you get the INGS pieces, have your autobody cut out the fake grill on the rear bumper. replace it with real black mesh. and then paint the entire black area.
it'll look 100x better.
t_waszoo 09-10-2009, 11:14 PM r-magic
thebiggdaddy 09-11-2009, 12:05 AM Good choice. I honestly think the middle part of the rear bumper will flow well since your car is red. In addition to the rear bumper, I would add the rear fog light. I think that would be perfect.
Ross_Dawg 09-11-2009, 01:08 AM Id go with the rmagic... it's super clean and any 8 owner will love the subtle differences
