So, I am on the road to Florida now. I left on Friday and won't probally be there until Monday. I know it sounds like it is taking longer than it should, but I am traveling with my grandma and grandpa plus my Unlces family and kids and they can't handle long drives so. The traffic was real congested around Richmond VA...ridiculus. I think when I get to my destination I will need a new clutch and new brakes due to the stop and go crap that went on. I decided to keep track of the 8's I see and so far am at 9...2 gray, 1 LY, 3 VR's, 1 WB, and 2 BB's. I also seen a Lamborghini Murcielago, which was cool because it was the first time in person. I wish I could have gotten pics of some cars but snapping and driving is way too dangerous. As soon as I get down there I will post some pics I did take of various things, but for now I will just keep this thread updated on how the trip go's.
Also I have a question for any one that could help me...After driving for a few hours, when I stop my car sounds like it is running funny, sort of like it is bridgported. Anyone know why this is??

^^ will do, but like I just posted in the Tampa thread, I wont be able to make meets that are on Saturdays unless they are later in the evening.

I had a guy in an Evo give me thumbs up the other day, and guy in an SVT Cobra messing with me. Tonight I am in Roanoke Rapids NC and I ate at Logans Roadhouse. If you ever get a chance to eat at one of these places, I recommend it, the food was great.

took that same trip.. yeah traffic in virginia is pretty horrible. Me and my dad were driving (him in his 6 and me in my 8) along with a few family members, and we took the drive straight down. took 20 hours because of the traffic and shit. I did the same thing! keeping track of the 8's on my way there.. i think i counted a total of nine 8's on the way there. Look up CFLrx8club and see if they're doing a meet down there.

Yeah...driving fine...well besides when I come to a stop, the idle is pretty rough.

Rough idle could be a broken motor mount

My 8 count is at 12 now. I'm in Georgia tonight...what is up with the state law that says you can't
purchase alcohol on Sundays??

I'm in Tampa...Brandon right now. The 8 count went down since the Carolinas...I have only seen one since then. The total count is 13. My first priority is to get the car washed, that is if it does'nt rain. I will upload a few pics I took soon.

I forgot to tell about how I did a fuel cost estimate on Mapquest.com on how much it was gonna cost from NY to Florida and it said $160. Well I spent $180...so it was pretty close.

No...we are just staying with someone while we look for a place, but it's going to be in Hillsborough county.
