Wait a second, you didn't put down Ash from Evil Dead/Army of Darkness! Bruce Campbell alone should be an Action Hero!

Shop smart, shop S-Mart!

Well since you included Bruce Lee, I'm assuming you are counting his American / Chinese produced movies, since none of his movies were strictly American. :D

Also, what about Jet Li, Chow Yun Fat, and of course the great Jackie Chan? They all have American made movies.

Some others to add to your list, as well:
Jean Reno (Leon aka -The Professional)
Hugh Jackman (Wolverine)
Brandon Lee (The Crow, Showdown in Little Tokyo)
Dolph Lundgren (Rocky 4, The Punisher)
Kurt Russell (Snake Pliskin - Escape from New York / LA, Stargate, Big Trouble in Little China)
Steven Seagal (Hard to Kill, Out for Justice, Snowball in Hell;) )
Clint Eastwood (Dirty Frickin' Harry!)
Mel Gibson (Mad Max, Lethal Weapon)
Fred Ward (Remo Williams)
Timac (Bruce Leroy - The Last Dragon)
Bruce (They Call Me Bruce)
Tom Cruise (Mission Impossible)
Keanu Reeves (The Matrix 1, 2, & 3, Speed)
Brendan Frasier (The Mummy 1 & 2)
Mr. T (The A Team, Rocky 3)
David Hasslehoff (Knight Rider)

Oh and don't forget, The Greatest American Hero - William Katt :D

And the list goes on and on and on...

As you can see, I love crappy action movies (and TV shows too).

Jackie Chan gets my vote, and it's for his Chinese movies. He was already in his decline by the time he started filming American movies though First Strike is pretty damn hilarious. A big plus for Jackie is that he always did his own amazing stunts, but it was clear by Rush Hour that that was no longer true.

Brandon Lee in The Crow is just amazing. The fact that he died while filming it makes this thing an instant cult classic. It's a creepy story; someone fired a gun at him while filming. Of course, the gun contained blanks. but the blank shattered and the fragments killed him on the sound stage. A true loss to our culture.

David Hasslehoff (Knight Rider) OMG, for a second there I thought you said Janet Reno. I can see it now: Cami Janet karate chop action figure with spiked boots. A sure best-seller! Grab those nasty Cuban kidnappers out of the closet without even firing a shot!

The Hasslehoff thing is a joke, right? Right??? If he's on your list then I guess we have to include Ernest from Ernest Goes to Camp (yaknowhatimean?)

Ya know... when I first read this post, I got this image of Janet Reno dressed as a dominatrix, with the "thigh-high" leather-spiked boots, camouflage mini-skirt, top cut just right... :D

I know I shouldn't pick on the dearly departed, but I bet that Matt probably has this photo, framed and autographed in his personal collection... and keeps it next to the photo of *his* TestaRossa....

Most of the one's on my list are jokes. Everyone knows the real star of Knight Rider was KITT.

As for Ernest, I can see that. Ernest Goes to Camp is a dumb movie, but everytime I think about those "para-turtles", I have to laugh.

:D

MacGuyver
Buck Rodgers
Crockett and Tubbs
Cop Rock (all of them are heros IMHO -- LOL)

Starbuck
Apollo

Hoss
Doogie Howser
Hannibal Smith
Starsky...and Hutch
HOMER SIMPSON
Chips (mmm chips)

Oh and last but not least: Malcolm Reynolds (Firefly).
