Includes:

Casetronic C134 Travla Mini-ITX system with:

VIA EPIA-M 10000G 1ghz (Embedded) Motherboard with 1GB DDR400 RAM
Slimline CD/DVD drive slot (I'm keeping my existing drive)
2.5" 250GB 5400 RPM IDE Hard drive
6 USB Ports
Front Audio / USB
12v Power (can be ran direct from car battery)

The case is a perfect fit for the rear center storage compartment. I've got the AC adapter for the 12V power supply that I can throw in to simply installation / out of car maintenance.

This system runs XP like a bat outta hell. Linux would be fine too. I never took the time to try Vista as the VIA display driver probably won't do aero.

The system is rock solid and has been in use full time for the past 12 months in my RX-8. It had a prior service life of about a year and half in a Dodge Durango back in 2005 or so.

Cost of this system (rated as being sold) is easily in the $500-$600 range new.

I'm considering letting it go for $250, but am open to (non low ball) offers.

Here is a reference picture (and actual specs) for the system:

Clarifying a couple points:

I'd be keeping the slimline ide dvdrom and I'll have to wipe the HD before shipping as XP is tied to one of my Microsoft developer licenses.

You'd need to supply your own slimline dvd drive and XP (or other OS) installation media/license.

I can produce current (in service) pictures if there's any real interest.

I wud think so since he is keeping the DVD drive.
and will cost 45 bux

NO OS and HD empty, ie wiped clean
How are you going to load an OS, since the DVD drive is gone?
Not worth the hassle to me.

If for some crazy reason you didn't want to buy a replacement slimline drive, you could usb flash boot or usb dvd drive boot / install your OS of choice. I wouldn't get hung up on that point when considering a carpc... you'll have PLENTY of other opportunties hassle wise to deal with.

I've gotten a couple PMs about the potential of this sale. I'll go ahead and get some pictures of it together and post a price in a thread within the next week or so. I'll probably let it go for $200 so that it's a fast sale... I don't visit the site nearly enough now-a-days to warrant a drawn out for sale thread.
