Hope this isn't a re-post (http://www.autoweek.com/cat_content.mv?port_code=autoweek&cat_code=coverstory&loc_code=&content_code=02120930)

Interesting, and a mouth-watering concept, but I still find "Chrysler Supercar" to be a huuge oxymoron. :)

Nice car, but Four Turbo's???

The all-alloy engine is a 365-cid/5980-cc dry-sump V12 with four turbochargers and dual-core intercoolers, a 6800-rpm redline and makes 142 hp/liter. “We started with the engine and built the car around it,” said Bernhard, “where some others start with the car and adapt an engine into it.”

And the Ford GT not only looks better, but it costs $300K less. May not be ultimately as fast, but it's still ridiculously fast for a fraction of the price of the Chrysler.

And I totally agree with eccles about the oxymoron...

Good post....but really, do you spend 400K for performance, or for the name....and chrysler is not the name that screams "I am the man"

Chrysler...450k... That conjures up the image of buying the entire Chrysler line of vehicles out right now for 450k, let alone just one. The car looks alright, but for that price, you can buy an RX-8 GT Nav, Ford GT, 2005 C6 Vette, Dodge Viper GTR, and still have money leftover to maintain these cars. I'd think it's more impressive to have these cars in the garage, than one shiny "Chrysler".

Actually I'd just buy all the colors for RX-8, including a White Mazdaspeed one, keep the rest of the money for maintenance. But that's just me, More practical.
