View Full Version : WTB: 07+ RX-8 GT Model
DeadOriginal 08-12-2009, 05:52 PM After a long time of trying to decide which car I should finally get I've come to decide on the RX-8. I'm looking for an RX-8 Grand touring model that has:
Less than 15k miles
Manual Transmission
Navigation System
Year 2007 or up
Sunroof/Moonroof
Preferably Velocity Red or Black Mica(correct me if I'm wrong about the colors lol.. but I'm mainly looking for red or black.)
I'm willing to pay a decent amount depending on the car. I would prefer that the car is in excellent condition. One or two minor scratches isn't much of a problem, but definitely no dents. I also want one that has a clean title and carfax. Yea.. very picky but it's a lot of hard earned money :tear:. O yea.. and one last thing is that I'm in the New York City area and will travel up to no more than 250 miles.
If you are willing to sell please post below with preferably pictures, location, and the price of the car.
I have an 08 40th Anniversary, not white, but a very nice deep charcoal color with everything except the navi. I have a nice Garmin (paid $400) that I could throw in if we make a deal. THis RX8 has the all available options incuding the spoiler and Sirius radio.
See my post dated 8/7/09 and let me know if you are interested. If so, I can send you pics and description and make you a very nice deal.
I live just North of Pittsburgh

I'm strictly looking for one with an integrated GPS system.
w0ng3r 08-19-2009, 11:20 AM IMO the integrated gps isn't as great as a garmin, the newer garmin models have a tonne of features, and you're gonna be unplugging the on board sat nav if you want to play your ipod/zune hardwired, that enables you to use the touchscreen on your PMP, or control the tracks using the remote on your steering wheel (google GROM RX-8 Ipod/Zune/Whatever you use). AFAIK using an FM transmitter in NY is poo poo.
just my 2 cents

Hmm......... Looks like I have a lot to learn..
I realize you are looking for buil tin Navi, and Black or Red Exterior, but just wanted to throw this out there.T
he Garmin that I would include with the 40th Anniversary (earlier post), has Bluetooth with speaker function that will come the through the Garmin or through an FM Stattion. You just ask it to find an unused station, lock it in, and you can control the volume from the steering wheel. It also has the Traffic receiver.
The 40th Anniversaryis a special package, with upgrades similar to the Shinka versions of the past and comes with the following features above the GT;
Exterior color is Metropolitan Gray. In normal daylight, it looks charcoal gray and as evening sets in, the color turns to charcoal gray with a undertone of deep teal blue.
Interior is also a deep charcoal gray, almost black, with brick red seats and seat backs.
Heated front leather seats with an 8-way power driver's seat.
18-inch highly reflective Dark Silver chrome aluminum wheels (like the 2009 R3)
Blue- tinted fog lights
BoseŽ 9-speaker 300-watt sound system with in-dash 6-CD changer.
Sport-tuned suspension with BilsteinŽ dampers
Urethane foam-filled front suspension cross member
Additional trim interior and exterior 40th AE trim
Let me know, and you are interested in seeing it, I could meet you part way.

It's ok, we all gotta start from somewhere, and I'm pretty new to the boards too, though I used to lurk around the 7 club forums abit, :)
besides, thats just the way I'd personally prefer to do it. GL with the search, i know it's a pain.

I'll get back to you once I get a hold on my money if you still have it by then. Something has come up and my financial situation has changed.

Thanks. Looks like it might be a while before I'll be able to buy one now that something has come up..
