just because the title says rx8 muffler, doesnt mean it would be good for it..its a universal fart can, and besides making the car look like a riced out honda with a huge can in the back, it most likey would sound like crap. Since youd have to remove the stock muffler anyway and bend up a pipe to put this on, why not just buy a decent magnaflow muffler that sits under the car, and dual pipe it out the back. Ive heard some decent custom exhausts made this way that sound ok.

Wouldnt fit anyway if you wanted the tip in a stock position. In front of your stock tips are your back tires and you dont have anywhere near 20 inches of space for that muffler, let alone a bend to attach it.

I went with a custom catback using an aero muffler. I did it more along the lines of an experiment with these mufflers to see how it sounds on the renesis. I have it setup single sided to save on cost. I will be purchasing the full exhaust system from Racing Beat over the winter though.

To sound like a broken record and repeat what was posted by everyone else, save your money and buy a good system. Get one used if you can to save you a few bucks. The fact is you do not want your car sounding bad and looking like a ricer. It is better to be stock than have your car looking dumb and showing up in the "what not to do to your car" thread.
