Every time I look at Wakeech's "new" avatars I start laughing.

Just read the plane one for the first time. To quote somebody: "That's not funny, that's sick!" (but still funny.) I'm still undecided what's the funniest.

i nominate that one thread with the incredibly non-English speaking person...he kept talking about his 19" LCD screen mod and how "You are going to like this" and "Don't do it for me, do it for the 8"...i've searched for it and can't seem to find that thread...

oh, and the guy with the blue 8 who painted his calilpers yellow and hubs blue...the thread wasn't funny, the impression my coworker gave when he saw the shitjob was...he was like, "ARE YOU F'ING KIDDING ME?!?" priceless :D

Another fun thread, although perhaps not so "funny" as creative, is RX-8 Haikus (http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11533)

Japanese poetry seems particularly appropriate for the RX-8. My favorite was by HOrde:

Cruising in my 8
Rear wheel drive is really cool
where did my gas go?

and as in any good election, i vote for myself (or at least, my own thread). :D

btw, Elara, i tried and tried to get the "BELIEVE!! You Can Fly!!" picture to scale down well, but it's a little chunky... :-s

I had to vote for the model plane when I saw the real-life picture of the match, some wood and the 2 flies somebody actually glued together. That is freaking hysterical!
