reading with interest an old times review of our beloved rex8. old Jezza Clarkson does opinionate quite alot and he does irk a lot of people. However on a recent Top Gear show he assists with...tea boy I think:D . He does redeem himself by saying what a superb drive and package the Rx8 is.

 

He said he loves the RX-8 that it is a really really good car

And judging from his reaction when the kid wanted to compare a 350Z..

he'd pick the 8 over it any day

 

Clarkson Loved the RX-8 on top gear, he also hates the 350z.

Odly enoygh he praised it(the8) a lot more on the program than on paper (times & tg mag). But he;s usualy more zelous (n either direction) on telly anyhow.

IMO the TG RX-8 review was one of the best, if not the best car review on (new)top gear ever, usualy they find something negative to say about the car.

His comment at the end was "best car driven all year" apart from "twitchy in the wet". That was after a long hot summer and 1st rains, roads were very slipy in any car, and the re040's arnt the best wet weather tyres. I'll live with that
