but then you'd have to put up with the clunky 5.7L V8 and 4 speed slushbox. :(

Darn it: The salesman told me it was a two-seater. I've been wasting all that extra seating room because I listened to him.

It's pretty funny, so we'll leave it here, if you don't mind :)

dude all those reviews are wierd

http://www.automobilemetro.com/2004_mazda_rx_8.html

For the RX-8: It can haul six people, yet can be quickly reconfigured to provide a large, flat cargo floor.

It shows a picture of a Tribute and on the bottom status bar it says Welcome to the new 2004 Tribute.

What a riot. They musta recycled old press and didn't update everything. Probably a New Years hangover or something.

That site has some serious issues. Their review of the "2004 Protege5" talks about a third row seat! (Never mind the fact that there's no such thing as an '04 Protege - it's been replaced by the Mazda 3.)

Oh, and the RX-8 can apparently carry up to 6 people!

Good grief.

Look at some of the other manufacturer "reviews" at this site. Apparently, BMW is still making the Z3 -- not only that, but they've already sold 20,000 2004 Z3's! (and they're not talking about the Z4, there's another bogus review for it).
