View Full Version : Photoshop help! Ings TS06 on Titanium Rx8
cavemancan 07-29-2009, 05:09 PM Hi guys!
I need some help...Can someone (besides Alfy...LMAO!!!) photoshop the INGS Rx8 in the following picture? I need to see what the car would look like if the color was Titanium. I hope to buy these bad boys soon with maybe some 255 or 265 series rubber on all 4 corners.

Who am I kidding...Alfy feel free to photoshop...I could use a good laugh! :evil_laug
Thanks!
P.S. Yes I searched
J8635621 07-29-2009, 05:19 PM I suck at photoshop, but it will look great.
@!!narotordo 07-29-2009, 05:24 PM i think that kit looks good on 8s that are lowered even front and back. some lowered 8s still have a wheel gap up front yet sit low in the back. i think that looks odd. this kit will look great in any color with a even drop.
ac3mastuh 07-29-2009, 05:30 PM i think he means he wants to see the wheels not the body kit on an tg 8

ac3mastuh 07-29-2009, 05:58 PM cool, it looks good, nice
souljamcdiddy 07-29-2009, 06:04 PM It might be a little dark... i just went by the color of the ti in j8635621's sig. But you get the general Idea.
alfy28 07-29-2009, 06:14 PM nice souljam. looks good
ac3mastuh 07-29-2009, 06:21 PM i would avoid putting a tire any larger than the 255, the offset on those wheels is already quite low and you might run into steering issues though with a 265 because of lack of clearance up front

This is correct...My intension was to see how the Gun Metal Metalic Ings TS06 rims would look on my color Rx8. This body kit, while a nice one, is not what I want. I eventually will pick the FEED front bumper with the Kenstyle rear bumper. I already have the stock appearence package half side skirts (rear and the front ones that kinda look like splash guards).
I honestly would love to get the Volk SF's but $800 to $900 for each rim...HELL NO! The Ing's are about $650 to $700 each which is more affortable. I can use the savings to buy tires. Not to mention the TS06's are lighter so it made it a no brainer in my opinion.
Thanks again for all the help! :naughty:

Well if the offset on the RPF1's are +45mm and they can take a 275 (285 with a lower side wall) series tire. The Ing TS06's are +40mm...I would think they could at least use a 265? I haven't done that much research on it but I will say this...If it comes down to rolling the fenders to make it fit then make it so! :lol2: I want it to look aggressive.
Then again 255 would not be to bad either. :)
pdxhak 07-30-2009, 12:24 PM The TS06 wheels are on my short list to replace what I currently have :)

why you want big ass tire? :Wconfused

If you look at the picture closely the tire they're using is stretched a bit more then I would like. In fact I would prefer it's not stretched at all so I can get the most amount of rubber touching the pavement. I want to eventually start autocrossing/roadcourse race. So if I'm going to do this to my daily driver I want to make sure the setup is a set it and forget it type of deal. No major camber or suspension changes but if I have to roll the fenders in order to get more tire/grip for the track then that's acceptable for me.
If 255 is the most I can get with these guidlines then so be it. I just think 245 is to stretched out.
It's also worth noting that on the stock rims I'm running a 245 40r 18 yokahama s-drive. If I'm getting wider rims it would seem counter productive to buy tires with the same width as my current setup.
J8635621 07-31-2009, 03:10 AM Yea I have 245s on my 9.5" rims (tires were for stock rims but got a good deal on the rp03). I will definitely get at least 255s next time around. Judging by mine (+38 offset all around) you should be able to get 255 without a roll and easily 275 with a roll AFAIK.
Butters 08-03-2009, 06:07 PM Definitely sexy! What offset would get you flush without rubbing? Assuming a 255 tire and stock height....
Motomouse 08-03-2009, 08:22 PM ohhh yeahh I love those rims too :) but 700-800$ a piece plus tires it will be over 4k????
Its a lot of money for the rims tires combo you can get turbo kit for that :)
But what I know I spent a lot for mine set too :) and still no turbo
Butters 08-03-2009, 08:35 PM Crazy question... do these babies come in 19's?
Butters 08-03-2009, 09:03 PM Ok, nevermind, just looked up the manufacturer's website. They only come in 18's.
