No you don't. Maybe a quart of oil every 2k. Not exactly going to break the bank. :)

I'm approaching 2,000 miles. Checked the oil on last fill-up and it's half-way between the two notches on the (painted) dip-stick. I figure to change the oil every 3500 or so, doubt I'm going to be adding that many quarts at the station.....
