Being from Nashville, I especially like the outcome of this game. They shut down Jamal Lewis, and their offense. Besides we have an old rivalry with the Ravens.

What a game, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! The defense and running game looked like the Super Bowl team of four years ago.

I was pulling for the Titans. I was happy to see Baltimore get eliminated. I think they are the team that would give my beloved Patriots the most trouble.

i was glad the titans won also. i think the pats, although a very good team and have won 12 in a row, are due for a bad game. the eagles have been to the last 2 NFC Championship games and it will be tough to get there a 3rd time. the lambs had there 15 minutes of fame a few years back. it may not happen but i'm thinking colts 35 packers 28 in the stuper bowl.

I'm glad the Titans won, I hate Billick and the Ravens - however I think the Titans are just too damn banged up to make it all the way through the super bowl. Yeah McNair plays best injured, but how much can this team really take? George is hurt too. Packers in the Bowl is a stretch, although I'd love to see it because I'm a huge Favre fan. My prediction is Pats over Panthers in the big one...

He was exonerated. I doubt he is truly a murderer. Besides is that a good reason to dislike an entire team? Bud Adams, owner of the Oilers, err Titans, now that is a good reason to hate, hate, hate a team.

Die hard, NON-LOCAL fans actually kind of liked the move! We got out of that dome, got Fischer, McNair, George and finally got to the Super Bowl! Still, I'd like to see the Run and Shoot again!

Actually, all those guys were part of the Oilers before the move.

Oh come on! Is this statement gonna be used to impugn every black man that was accused of murder. Believe it or not some of these people can be innocent.

Actually, you are correct.:o However, their growth and success didn't really begin until after the moved to Tennessee in 1997.

Tennesse will give the Pats a run for their money. This should be a great game. I do believe NE will win a close one.

However, NE better not think that once they beat Tenn, it'll be smooth sailing to the big show! Watch out for Indy! They're gonna suprise a lot of people when they beat KC and NE to get to the Super Bowl.

Ok, I wasn't going to even respond to this but it was quite a presumptuous statement.
A. How do you know I'm not black?
B. O.J. wasn't convicted in criminal court but was held responsible in civil, and had to pay money because he was held responsible for their deaths, and their deaths were the result of murder.
C. It was you who brought up black and white, I was having a friendly football rivalry conversation, and mentioned a rumor which I did not originate, and he was exhonorated, however, he was there. It's also a common association among Titan fans.
D. Ted Kennedy also got away with murder, how much whiter can you get.

Yes some people can be innocent, you must have a chip on your shoulder to take everything so seriously.

Back on topic, Jamal (top running back) Lewis could not gain yards (between 29-35) on the NFL's #1 ranked run defense.

Baltimore's passing game was pitiful. My worry is that the Patriots pass attack is excellent and that's the weak part of the Titan defense. However, we played them tough in New England and hammered them nicely about a year ago in Nashville so I think its going to be a close game!

The last time the Titan's played the Patriots was at Foxboro, a rushed Steve McNair threw an interception on a possible Tennessee scoring drive. They didn't forget, it's cold in Nashville right now, I'm sure they will be used to it by this weekend. Yes I admit the Pat's play a great game, however it won't be a rollover. Their records should be the same however during the last Titans/Indy game, Eddie Berlin (a nobody) dropped two punts and let Indy recover, they still barely beat them. If you didn't know I am a Titan fan, I do however believe that any team can beat any other team. Look what happened to the Chiefs against the Bengals.

Actually, I believe they finished 8/8, in '97 and 8/8 in '98, it was in '99 (the year they changed their name, and the year they got their Coliseum in Nashville) they had the most success ending in a loss in the Superbowl, in '97 they played in Memphis, and '98 they played at Vanderbilt's stadium. In '99 McNair missed 5 games due to back surgery, which Neil O'Donnell formerly of Pittsburg (and just recently re-signed) played and won, I think their record was 11-5, they won the wildcard in the Music City Miracle against the Bills, going on to one of the best (in many opinions, and at least one of the closest scoring wise) Superbowls ever.

Side note: The Tennessee Oilers was not a good name for this team, besides, Houston now has a new team that looks promising.

Yes, there were some dark years between the Moon and McNair eras and those 500 seasons really were the bridge between the dark times and the new era.

Did you guys see the forecast for Saturday's game in Foxboro? 13 degrees for a high and 0 for a low, figure temps to be between 5 and 10 degrees during game time.

My football brain says Pats will win, but i'm going for the Panthers, even though the Titans ended their undefeated season, and the Pat's beat us twice albeit by few points. Maybe Houston will be too warm for the Pat's.
