Can anyone reccomend an installer for my new shoes in the Hampton roads area of Virginia.

I plan on taking them to the dealer who said that they could do it no problem but then couldn't get the tire off the rim. I am installing a set of Sumitomo HTR+ (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Sumitomo&tireModel=HTR%2B) Ultra high performance all season radials in 245/40WR18 as soon as they come in from the Tire Rack. Total cost w/shipping was $510.

The Kramer tire store that did the repair of the one tire the dealer had problems with said that they would not install any tires that I did not purchase from them. Citing insurance and liability issues!

Not to "use" Tire Rack for their web info, but they do (or did) maintain a list of associated shops on their web site. You might end up having to make the trip into Norfolk or Va Beach, but at least you'd have a competent shop doing the work...

I used their site to find a shop near me and I found one within a mile. They also accept drop shipments so I'm pretty psyched about getting me some S-03s in the future.

Thanks for all the help. I just checked the site and there is a shop Custom Car Care in Yorktown that comes highly recommended. I will give them a call Mon.
