Instapundt has an 8!

Instapundit is a United States political blog produced by Glenn Reynolds, a law professor at the University of Tennessee. It is one of the most widely read political blogs. The blog began in August 2001 as an experiment and a part of Reynolds' class on Internet law.

Because of his long-standing prominence in the political blogosphere and his efforts to encourage new bloggers, Reynolds is sometimes called the BlogFather.[2] A 2007 memo from the National Republican Senatorial Committee described him as one of the five "best-read national conservative bloggers,"[3] though Reynolds does not describe his views as conservative.[4]

RX-8 UPDATE: Okay, it’s now been, believe it or not, nearly 6 years since I bought the Mazda RX-8. Since it’s a second car, to be driven to the mountains on nice days, etc., it’s still low-mileage, but it still drives like new. (Actually, slightly better, since I like the Kumho Ecsta tires I bought last year better than the original equipment Bridgestones.) I’ve had no mechanical problems other than a bad battery that was replaced under warranty. Gas mileage isn’t anything special. I’m well into my second set of tires, but the brakes still have a lot of life in ‘em — that probably says something about my driving style . . .

Recently I had Mazda retrofit an iPod adapter, which works fine with the existing stereo. That’s a big plus — the FM adapter I’d been using sucked, because there’s almost no open frequency in Knoxville. Would I buy it again? Yes. Especially since Mazda has extended the powertrain warranty to 8 years, 100,000 miles. Lots more background here.

UPDATE: Total cost for the iPod adapter? $280, installed. The dealer had it in stock, and the whole thing, together with the scheduled maintenance, only took a few hours. Controlling the iPod from the stereo works fine, and the cable is generously long.

I'm sure the OP follows that gentleman's blog, so it's relevant to him.
But again, as I stated before, BOO politics, BOO.

People just get too worked up over politics, trust me, people that follow the political blogs, listen to political radio, watches political news/commentary shows, care more than the people they follow.

Just remember, those people on TV, radio, blogs that you admire so much, they're in it for the money, sometimes they don't even truly believe the things that are coming out of their mouth/keyboard.

General public's voices do not get heard in modern government, it's the lobbyists that gets heard, which is a shame.

Sorry for going off topic

Gee, I didn't think my post would start an idiot contest.

You people damn well better get interested in politics if you want your beloved rotary engine to survive. By 2016, automobiles manufactured in the United States will have to operate at 35.5 miles per gallon. The rules are very complex, but I suspect any imported rotary engine would have to get a car at least 30 MPG. Mazda has been making and studying rotary engines since the early '60s. Mazda has put them in cars since 1970. If you think Mazda is gonna get 30 MPG out of a rotary engine in 7 years, you have your head up your @ss.

The main focus in a Congressman's life is to keep his job. Earlier this month, the Waxman-Markey 1800 page climate change bill was approved by the House. There has been so much public consternation about the bill that it is now considered DOA at the Senate.

Glenn Reynolds is a smart guy. It is obvious from the half-@ssed posts here that nobody has a clue about his many interests he writes about on Instapundit. I consider Instapundit to be a must read if I want learn the latest developments from many fields.
