View Full Version : Dyno Spots In Seattle Area
J.Cab 07-10-2009, 07:46 PM Hey guys I am looking to dyno my car once again but somewhere in the Seattle area. I know we went to Kito Auto Sports the last dyno meet, but are there any other options. I just looking to get like 3 or so pulls. Unless there are some dyno meets happening soon that you guys may know about. Please help me out, I would like to do it here next weekend.

Thanks man, I have no recent pics though other than the car on the dyno last weekend. But since the last dyno meet I got some new rims and a seibon carbon fiber hood.
dondo 07-10-2009, 09:57 PM sweet. what rims are they?
shazy 07-10-2009, 10:57 PM How much power did you put down for the rx8, if you don't mind?

I don't want to say right now because when I got it dyno'ed the tune was messed with, and I wasn't able to go past the stock wastegate. So needless to say I was very disappointed. Thats why I am posting this thread looking for another dyno place, so I can dyno it again with some different boost levels.
LCheung 07-11-2009, 01:33 AM stock wastegate? stock kit wastegate?
The Honda shop Speed Factory in Tacoma (University Place) does 3 pulls for $65 and with O2 for $75.

They probably won't know much about the RX-8, but they were generally helpful.

I meant only 7psi. I may have to look into going here. I dont need no tuning what so ever, just a place that can dyno it.
LCheung 07-11-2009, 05:49 PM Yeah, the prices I mentioned are for without tuning. I imagine that they do pulls for other makes all the time because they bought a 4 wheel dyno, but they work on Hondas almost exclusively. I really doubt anyone is bringing in their CRV for a dyno pull. Keep us posted on your progress. I'm curious what your car will do on 7 lbs.
J.Cab 07-13-2009, 02:11 PM Anyone know of any other places?
LCheung 07-13-2009, 09:17 PM The only other non-DynoJets I can name off the top of my head are Pina Motorsports in Kent, WA and FAME in Redmond, WA. I don't know if they have good rates for pulls only.
dannobre 07-13-2009, 09:36 PM Kito had a good dyno....are they wanting a lot to do a baseline?

I guess I can go and see what they charge..seems like 120.00 for 2-4 pulls. Seems a little high dont you think?
Gripen 07-14-2009, 03:45 AM There's Drift Office in Auburn on Auburn Way North. They have a Dynojet available. Talk to Bob at 253.288.3888.

Very agreeable. I think you'll be surprised.
J.Cab 07-16-2009, 11:17 AM Okay I found a place that is closer to my house, its 100.00 for 5 baseline pulls with A/F readings. So I think that I am going to go through him. I am shooting for early next week.
