Although lovey lacked stamina, she made up for it with the experience that comes with age....

Def. Mary Ann...it's always the nice, pretty girls from next door that are likely to surprise you.

there's just something about a handsome, tanned man who can make a battery out of coconuts that really turns my crank ;)

(no, really, Ginger... i've got a thing for beauty marks)

Thanks alot klegg, I was showing some of my friends this website and we saw this thread. Well needless to say we started a whole mary ann vs ginger argument that lead to a brawl, also it could of been the extra alcohol in our systems. But anyway after the smoke cleared and a visit to the emergency room we all agreed that mary ann was the best. Until someone brought up geine from I dream of genie and all hell broke loose. :p

My sentiments exactly. A man's most important sex organ hangs between his ears, y'know.

Which is why I voted for Ike. :D

It's was Ginger in 1971 for me... didn't understand it at the time, but it was definitely Ginger. With the experience and wisdom that comes with age, I now see that Mary Ann was the better choice. As I grow even older, I see the day coming when I'd rather spend the afternoon discussing rotary design with the professor.

i voted Ginger...just because i remember coming home from school to watch the show and have the biggest crush on her. But now, a little older, not much wiser...i have moved on to MaryAnn. i think it is because of the "girl next door" thing. had my experiences with the "hot chick" and the cute girl next door type. the latter proved to be better in the long run. but at the same time, i would not complain with Ginger.

fun thread by the way!

I always thought that Ginger was all show, no go. I bet Maryann would turn you inside out before she was done with you.

To complicate the issue...

- Jan, or Marsha?

- Velma, or Daphne?

- Chapel, or Uhura?

Now that I think about it, this is what makes the RX-8 such a great car:

- All the sex appeal of Ginger, with all the practicality of Mary Ann.
- All the innocence of Jan, with all the sophistication of Marsha.
- All the brains of Velma, with all the curves of Daphne.
- All the performance of Chapel, with all the style of Uhura.

[Those who prefer male personifications, make appropriate substitutions.]
