I had a bright idea when I went to fill in gas today that I'd try and get in every last drop and you know what happened next right? Overflow and gas running down the side of my 8 :mad:

I had about 6 coats of Zaino on so I guess that was a blessing as it seemed to roll right off. When it happened I wanted to go and wash it off right away but there was this big A stretched limo at the air/water station so I ran into the mini mart, bought a bottle of bottled water, came back out and washed down the area where the gas spilled. Got a few wierd looks from peeps around me but hey, it's a new 8 :p

I'm guessing I should probably re-Zaino that area of the car. I was surprised that it didn't feel greasy/oily since gas has oil in it. I guess from next time I better stop at the first click ;)

This is actually a very good question. Even though I am sure to angle the nozzle upwards while removing, every once in a blue moon a few drops manage to drip on the fender. I've always wondered if that strips off Zaino/wax/etc.

On a side note, I used my Leather In A Bottle today to condition a new baseball glove I bought. Anyone have any thoughts about this (I know jack about baseball and gloves). I thought it smelled nicer than the Glove oil.

Yup....Gas or any solvent will remove Zaino or any other protectant instantly. Just go over the areas that were affected with an extra coat or two and call it a day :)
