Do you guys wave to other RX-7/8s you see on the roads? With a smaller community like motorcycles I always wave to other riders, just wondering if people do the same in cars

Yes.

Usually a thumbs up, a waive if they are cool and aren't too caught up on their destination.

I live in the 4th largest city in the country, have driven my RX-8 over 3000 miles in 6 weeks, made a couple of in-state road trips, and have still never seen another 8 on the road.

Who cares about 7's? :D

I wave to 7 and 8's and sometimes WRX's. I guess it depends on what I am driving.

Only to other 8's, and then it's a headlight flash which I think is much more visible. Same thing we did with BMW 2002's when they were new.

I wave to other 8's I see on the road. There's actually someone with a tit gray one near my fiance's house whom I have seen 2 or 3 times, and always confuse by waving :D

Saw my first 8 on the road today after 4,800 miles of driving. We both waved . . . and looked shocked.

Heh. Well, I could be a smarty pants about it, but how about this. The next 5 posts you read on the forum, replace the number 8 with the word pants.

i have passed only 1 RX8 with my 8.. passed few 8s while in my civic though

My brother does the two-finger steering wheel midwestern wave to everyone, I think.

I have yet to see another RX8 on the road. I've shared a couple of nods with RX7 drivers though.

Aw, man, that's only for pickup truck drivers and other country traffic.

I'll wave whenever I see one, whenever that will be. I keep getting reports that there indeed are a few in my area. Hmmm...

Anway, it was that friendly wave from that blonde barbie coming out of that store that's left me and my 15 year old son wondering. We were just sitting there waiting for our 5 for $5.95 at Arby's. Totally wasn't expecting it. She gets in her modded stang & drives off. We were going like, "was she waving at us? Had to be, there isn't anyone else around! Whoa!"
