View Full Version : Happy Father's Day...
Ever Hernandez 06-21-2009, 11:03 AM Well, happy faher's day to everyone lucky enough to be a dad. I gotta tell you becoming a dad was one of the most surreal experiences of my life. It completely eradicated my fear and insecurity with kids. Now I found myself doing the silly stuff that makes my little one laugh because I will do anything to hear her laughter and see the smile on her face. It's funny how you almost instantly have a completely different mind set and all of the sudden you start minding and cherishing the little things in life. My young family and I have been through our share of good and bad experiences in this short time, and I'm sure there will be plenty more, but I'm sure the good will keep me going to see me become a better dad and companion to my wife. Never thought I'd find myself catching vomit from a sick child without thinking twice about it and yet think there's no other place I'd rather be than comforting my little one. Anyway congratulations to everyone and remember, "just keep trying"

Ever Hernandez 06-21-2009, 12:47 PM Thanks Kane, damn I hope my wife knows me well enough to not get me a tie every father's day and birthday :D: Oh yeah, I forgot the special shout out to the people who can't be with their dad or sons. It's hard being away from the people you love. I was away from my parents for several years before we reunited again but thanks to my aunt, who's like a second mother to me, their absence wasn't as severe.
Hey Dozer, let me guess, Coronas?
