this catback does not fit to the stock cat, needs to have the midpipe, its a 3' pipe vs stock 2.5

the stock cat fits to the cat back but the midpipe does not fit to stock exhaust...i too have this exhaust and i used this exhaust with stock cat for best purring sound

 

hows that possible, i tried with stock cat by removing the midpipe and its a 2.5 going into a 3, it leaked like crazy and was loud as ****...

 

is it loud with the mid pipe?

 

u have to buy a different gasket for it

 

and yes its loud with midpipe ( i built resonator into mine)

The Catback will fit the OEM Cat.

You get a special donut gasket when you order the Turbo XS Catback from their site all in the same package. The donut gasket is larger than the OEM one so that the Turbo XS Catback will fit.

Now, if it was the other way around, meaning, the Turbo XS Midpipe/racepipe to the OEM Catback then it will not fit.
