from the searches i had done on the threads, the closest thing a rattle ive been experiencing seems to be called steering column rattle, its like a 'jiggling' sound when going across small bumps.

i have to go for a 1k service soon and was wondering:
1/ if any one else here has had the problem
2/ if so, did u tell the service ppl to fix it up
3/ if so, did they know what to look for?

i guess i am worried that they dont know what to look out for and result in stripping the lining to try to figure out where that jiggling sound is coming from..

or should i just pull off the front wheels and see if i could find those small rocks that may have been trapped in the arm

I had a rattle in the surround for the steering column. I could stop it by wedging something between the steering wheel and the dashboard.

When I mentioned "rattles" to my service manager, he took it very seriously, and did a terrific job of taking it apart and putting it back together.

I am now rattle free.
