Anybody here know any good and trustworthy shop/mechanic in NJ area that is capable and knowledgable about the rotary engines? I've got the impression that the mechanics at most dealerships are only mediocre.
TIA,
Pete

Pete, I am a KD Rotary guy, but I have heard nothing but good things about Jim's shop. I talk to a lot of FD guys and am on the 7 board. Anyway, just thought I'd tell you what I heard.

Thanks guys. Btw slimjim, where is your shop in S. Jersey? And so far what kind of problems you encounter the most for the new RX-8?
I plan to take the car to the track so I need to prep the car appropriately. How easy it is to change the pads and rotors for the RX-8 and are there any specific track pads that you recommend for our cars?
TIA,
Pete
