I can get a head unit that has the new firmware fairly cheap but then I have to spend a few more bucks to get the ipod adapter. I would prefer and adapter that would allow me to use my new 4GB shuffle rather than my Nano because i'd like to leave it in the car. But i don't want to use a blank CD or a FM modulator to accomplish this. I rea dall teh other post but its too much. Any ideas?

Yeah I went by Best Buy to look at the double din units and they had a nice Kenwood with Garmin GPS, but when you add the dash kit, install, and steering wheels controls its adds up.
