I buried this message in a prior post but thought everyone should know about this book.

The salesman gave it to me. It is in color and has the complete history of the RX-8, rotary engine development, and rotary racing around the world. Book by Jack. K. Yamaguchi. I read that these books were given by Mazda to Mazda Dealer Principals, General Managers, Service Managers, and District Reps. These are not available to the general public. All the pre-order owner of the RX-8 in Australia has one. I had mine 4 months before the car came!!!!

My dealer gave me a copy as I was the first person to buy one.

I posted a response to your prior post about the book - it might not be available to the general public, but everybody who pre-ordered an RX-8 in the US was sent a copy of that book, some people got two copies. There were thousands of these books sent out to RX-8 buyers. I got a copy of the book from someone on the forum who received two, and as you noted they show up on e-bay regularly.

You can sometimes find them on EBAY. Thats were I had to get mine.

got one(pre-order gift) and i am not giving it up after that fight i went thru.
