View Full Version : Who's Yellow RX-8 Is/Was This?
Just spotted this on a car carrier in a Burger King parking lot about 15 miles South of Cleveland. Looks pretty heavily modded and the front end was pretty bad but didn't seem bad enough to me to have it totalled. Pretty random thing to see as I was pulling out of an Autozone. Sorry for the crappy iPhone pics:

Notice the front left headlight in the one pic says 'Sicc' on it. That's a pretty distinguishing feature.
perks11 05-18-2009, 09:38 PM shoulda takken that carbon fiber hood of the, unless it was damaged. if the truck driver was in burger kind he wouldnt have noticed
PSTNLSS 05-18-2009, 10:53 PM It looks like it is a car transporter truck. That maybe the front bumper was removed for transport? This isn't a wrecker?
kersh4w 05-18-2009, 11:19 PM yeah, the front end does not look damaged at all. otherwise the bumper would be crushed and its in perfect shape.
i think the front end was just too low so they removed it for transport.
philipchan 05-19-2009, 01:33 PM I dont think is damaged too, just take off the front bumper in order to move easily
also dont think is heavy modded...
1.coz I see the stock exhaust ,lol,
2.tire size and tire brand, heavy rims+unknown brand tires...sth 088, never heard of it and is 225/45/18....stock size
3.I dont see a cold air intake either, may be a short ram tho ^^
Cattywampus 05-19-2009, 01:46 PM Judging from the clay under the front wheel well I would imagine it is from the west coast somewhere. Good looking car though.

I didn't see a CAI and obviously didn't get to peak inside the engine bay. Stock exhaust but it looked like a single-res midpipe. Rotors are obviously aftermarket and there was some attempt at painting the calipers. But yeah it looked like it was mostly appearance mods. The rear bumper was aftermarket and probably the front bumper before it got taken off.
Just not something I see everyday on a truck so I figured I'd see if it was someones around here. :)
CTrx8 05-19-2009, 01:49 PM yeah - probably took the front bumper off for better tie-downs.

I see...
but can someone tell me that is that the real APR racing wing??
Coz as far as I know, APR racing wing should be the whole thing made by carbon fiber, but from the pic is not @.@ is half and half ?
One time I saw a truck with 5 ferrari and 5 lamborghini, so wanted to steal that truck,:cwm27:
Alucard 05-19-2009, 05:25 PM I see he has the R-Magic Sides skirts and Rear skirt... wonder if they are real or replicas....

looks pretty modded out, i dont think he was saying it was heavily modded as in, the guy went and spent a grip on each mod.

AGREED!
im still not sure of why people put those 9 foot wings on their car...yes i know its personal choice, but what is the function? i doubt these are track cars who need the stability aspect of it.
to each their own...i wont put em down to hard
