well i've been browsing this forum for months now and i think it's time to become a member because i'm really leaning towards the 8, i'm going to be purchasing a new car sometime around april (if everything goes as planned) so i've been researching some different cars, the rx8, 350z, g35c, and rsx s, i've driven the 8, the z, and the rsx, and personally i like the 8, plus it has a backseat, and the backseat is the only reason i'm considering the g35, actually on my test drive of the z i didn't notice any more power than the 8 and that is the only reason i'm considering that over the 8, i know it has more but i just didn't feel it, anyways sorry for rambling on just wanted to let everybody know a lilttle bit about myself, you'll see more of me

I'm in the same boat as you (kind of), but hope to purchase in January. I bought a G35 Sedan in June of last year (wanted a useable back seat), and wish I had waited for the Rx-8. I like the looks of the sedan, and the powerful engine, but I'm getting bored with it, and want something that screams sports car :D

It's got too many rattles, and the interior (IMO) is too dated. I love the looks of the G35 coupe (exterior) and have driven the Z many times (friend has one). Both great cars, but I think the Rx-8 will suit me better.

I'm also hoping to take advantage of the inventory that dealers seem to have a lot of (in Florida). We'll see what happens!
