The SEVENth annual SOCALM Hangover Run is open to all Mazdas -- let's bring out the 8s and ride in comfort while the ragtop crowd freezes their butts off. :) Seriously, the roads are more entertaining than sitting in bed watching the Rose Parade. See you there!

Details on the SOCALM website: Hangover Run (http://www.socalm.org/Calendar/event.php?d=20040101&e=294&m=1&cy=2004)

I went on the hangover run 2 years ago and it was a fun drive. There was heaps of cars - I think over 70 rx-7's alone.

I'm hoping to make it along to this (next?) year's one.

Oh really????? Let me know if you want to meet up during the day if you have time!

I work 5 mins from the strip, and live about 10mins away (damn traffic lights)

We can get some quick pics or something!

Is anybody planning to bring their 8 to the SOCALM Miata club's Hangover Run on Jan. 1? I'm debating which car to bring. I don't want to be the only 8 there! It's open to ALL Mazdas, btw.

Click here (http://socalm.org/Calendar/event.php?d=20040101&e=294&m=1&cy=2004) for more info.

I'm planning on taking my 8 up to the run. It currently depends on what happens on the night before as to whether or not I can actually manage to make it there...

I went a couple of years ago in my FC and there were a lot of cars there - lots of rx7's and Miatas. I would expect that you would not be the only '8 there.

Cheers,
Simon.

I may chicken out if it's pouring rain... At this moment in time, unfortunately, I think that looks likely.

Guys:
We also have details up at the So-Cal RX Club site (http://www.socal7s.org). For those that have live in northern L.A. or the S.F. Valley, we will be caravaning over to the start point.

Hmmm, I thought I sticked the other post from a while ago, but it doesn't come up in a west search.

Either way, this is sticky now.

I want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year and hope all who attend tomorrow's Hangover Run a very safe and fun drive!

From our poll and inquiries, there might not be any So-cal RX Club folks at the Griffith Park, L.A. Zoo Parking Lot "C" meet point @ 8:15AM tomorrow morning, so everyone should proceed directly to the Orange County start point.

DETAILS:

Only got a few shots after my cam decided to require a "memory card reformat" after 30 lot pics.

Can't tell by the pics since most everyone rolled out, but total count was 85 cars. Not bad for a subdued hungover crowd. :D

Had fun at the Hangover Run. Got this shot of a few of the cars there. My 8 is in the foreground (naturally:D). I got a few compliments on the exhaust -- thanks!

Ugh - I had finally gotten mine the night before plus had a get-together at a co-worker's house that night so I didn't make it. Looks like a pretty good turnout from our clan - looks like 3 or 4 just from Bob's pic alone.
