Gentlemens bet...not club

So me and Nick talked about this a bit last night. We should have a little contest who can get the most new rx8 members around the Greater Seattle area to join via Zoom-Zoom notes. I drive around and try to get other people in 8s attention. I can be hanging out my window waving and people dont even look over! We need to populate our NW section!

Rules:
Put lil sticky notes, napkins, business cards (if you desire to make, but they have to be in a shape of a rotary or the car ) with it titled "Zoom-Zoom" and a quick detailed note showing the importance to joining our community. Make sure to add to post in the NW Section, see keeping score.

Keeping score:
Gentlemens bet. They have to register and say they found a note on their car to join. No trying to steal someones catch, this isnt a frat party. You can keep track of your score anyway you want. Id prefer little kill stickers on the side of my car like a WW2 airplane.

To the winner!:
Well I guess it will never end. But if someone just blows all of us out of the water we owe that man a beer. I accept any lager.

Lets populate our section some more with a fun contest. Zoom-zoom on! Bitches.

Scoreboard
Someone - 1 (pending)

I say we make a plate frame for the "winner". "Zoom Zoom" on the top, "Attention *****" on the bottom

I'm tempted to print out a bunch of cards here at work today >_>

Great idea. Im going to be posting notes all over. I wish I could like shoot notes at cars that are driving down the freeway next to me that dont look over at me.

Edit* I need to get one of those NERF guns with suction cup darts. Tape a note like a midevil era arrow note. Could you imagine seeing someone hanging out their car with a NERF gun shooting darts at another car Imma hit up Toys R Us today. Ill be around UW today. Who wants to try some HWY target pratice.

^^Thats awsome..

To make sure i got this right. We just need to attach a note to the car and get them to sign up on the form and mention that someone put a note on there car?

Sounds good to me

Who is "everyone"? I could see getting away with making 5-10 per person for 5-10 people, but they'll notice if I print out like 60 pages... actually they won't, but I don't want to spend a hour cutting them out on a cutting board

I've got more work to do still today, but maying I'll poke around later and come up with something...

Ignore the angry spell check lines, I can have 300 of these for tonight, just on plain office paper... if there's enough interest maybe I can swing by Staples or something and grab one of the business card decks of nicer paper, but from what I remember those are amazingly overpriced, like $20 for 30 sheets of paper.

?

I like the idea of getting more people in the area...what if, instead of cards, we use a window decal with WWW.RX8CLUB.COM? Anyone who has this car would understand but it too would have to be pretty big. Do you know if anyone makes these already?

Just an idea...

I tried to flag down a 09' on his way to a McDs but he didnt want to have anything to do with me. Would have pulled in but its already 11:30 and I should been sleeping about 2 hours ago.

Even decent office paper works good. Just cant make it so small that they wont see it. I use napkins from Dick's and write on it. Tagged another car when I went to H&M tonight.
