I was based at Rucker many moons ago and spent many days tooling around in the area in my Morris Minor. Pretty Country. Just stay out of the Slop Shoots.
CTrx8 05-11-2009, 12:53 PM i never miss an opportunity to check out some of the photography by dmp.
as always, great shots.
TopGear8 05-11-2009, 12:55 PM Execellent shots, I really like the background in the first picture, almost so much that I didnt even see the car at first, It's just so clear.
Thanks folks! I had time to go over one more...

Thanks Ross - my favourite is #1. I'm an ass man, I suppose... :)

I agree - it's (hopefully) timeless design should wear well as time goes by.
greg985 05-11-2009, 05:49 PM what springs do you have?
NYC Drift King 05-11-2009, 05:58 PM Awesome!
what springs do you have?
Tein Basics.
Awesome!
Thanks man!
altspace 05-11-2009, 06:50 PM Very nice. The 3rd photo is adjusted a bit too much. It's looses something.
Thanks for the feedback Josh!
dondo 05-11-2009, 07:22 PM i think they looks great man. good job and way to rep ss. ;)
altspace 05-12-2009, 07:32 AM Thanks for the feedback Josh!
Welcome. I meant to add that I love the last pic. the contrast of the background and your car is perfect.
Thanks again! Honestly, that one is one of my least-favourites.
FWIW, I carried a step-ladder (one of the folding kind) in the car to get the angle right. Here's one I didn't post (because the front wheels were crooked, and I think i'd like to re-process it) from the ladder.

Anyone notice any easter eggs?? :)
Criticisms on that last shot are appreciated! :)
mine: I don't like that the front wheels are turned. I'd like a little more space below the car. I'm thinking I could take a different approach w/ the processing - unsure which approach, but there's likely a better one for the lighting and conditions. I should have brought a reflector in an attempt to remove the dark shadows under and behind the car.
Awesome pics man :) . And I love the car, what kit do you have on it? I really like it.
altspace 05-13-2009, 10:06 AM Kit? That's the OEM Appearance Package.
Really? With the side skirt and rear pieces?
Yeah - paid an extra $750? for that when I bought the car.
:)
Thanks!
ScottyFlow 05-13-2009, 11:50 AM They all look great. It looks pretty pro, and the fact that you took a ladder definantly shows you've done this before. Do you mind if I ask what Camera and lens you used? Any photoshop? I honestly can't tell but the "light beam" shot looks like some creative use of the gradient tool. If you can use photoshop and make pictures look that good after you've already shot some great photos, then you're damn good. People always go overboard with photoshop. It's the subtle stuff that wins. Like angles! :biggthump
L337fpc 05-13-2009, 12:00 PM very very nice pics man! I like the ladder shots.
Zerotide 05-13-2009, 12:05 PM Wow great looking shots. For some reason it looks like your front wheels have a ton of negative camber in some of the shots.
I think they're at 1 degree. Course, on uneven terrain... :)
