I know I said I was going to put the wheels on once I got my Megan coil overs on. Unfortunately, after I was done getting the tires on, I didn't have any time left to pick up my coil overs from FedEx. So I'll have to do them tomorrow. And the sway bars are on back order for 2 weeks :(

So anyways, the Volks are mounted now and they fit better than I originally thought. The sizes are 8.5 +29 up front and 9.5 +48 in the rear. Tires are 245/35/19 and 255/35/19.

I was concerned that the +48 in the rear would look odd with the +29 in the front, so I bought some 15mm spacers for the rear. But after I mounted them, they stuck out too far, I'd say about 3/4" out too far, definitely would've had fender clearance issues. So I decided to try with the spacers off, and they fit perfectly.

I'll get some side shots once I get the coil overs installed.

Yeah, the install was finished late so I was unable to get any decent shots.

2. I often have passengers riding in the back, so in order to prevent any rubbing, I went with that size.

Well, I only had time to take care of the front assemblies today. I'll have to finish the rear tomorrow morning.

But just so folks can see how it looks so far, I drove up to the gas station and snapped some pictures. Keep in mind the rear coilovers aren't installed yet. As for the front height, there is no rubbing up to this point, although the black part below the bumper scraped as I hit a nice-sized dip. I'll raise it up another 1/2" tomorrow.

a slight roll or shave should fix that problem..If it were me, I would have went with 275's or stretched the shyt out of some 245's or lower..

I have 245's all around on my 18x9.5 wheels all around. I have s-techs and didn't want to roll.

245s fit on a 8 inch wheel, and will save you some weight!

It's all personal preference. If a company manufactures a rim in 18x8 and 18x9.5, chances are the 18x9.5 is going to have a larger lip or more of a concave shape to it's face. If the person is looking for either of those, chances are they're going to buy the one that looks better in their opinion.

Yeah, the Rays lugnuts came with a nice lock and the apartments I live in have a private parking garage, so I'm fortunate in that sense.

However, shit came up on Sunday and so the car is still rolling with no rear coilovers installed. I'm busy with class all week so I won't be able to finish until Thursday or Friday...:squint:

On a side note, I also have the appearance package lip and sides that I was going to install...but after seeing how much I like the look of the front lowered the way it is, I think I'll end up selling them. Otherwise, I'll have to raise the car up or completely destroy the front lip.
