cardinalewaymazda, UPS shipping to canada, have you been dinged with brokerage?

Hi guys,

Looking to buy coils and brakes from cardinalewaymazda.com. They offer free shipping to Canada and they are reputable. Issue is that they ship via UPS.

As most of you know UPS is awful when it comes to brokerage. With that being said would anyone be able to chime in on how much they were dinged for brokerage by UPS from cardinalewaymazda? Remember Im talking brokerage fees here not duty.

Thanks guys!

They'll ding you a $30 fee if the shipment value is over $50.

Gotcha.......

It really is hit or miss with UPS. I've been dinged 60 bucks in the past for something worth 20 dollars ( i didnt accept the package).

I'm trying to determine what the worst case scenario would be so and then decide whether its worth going local.

Coils are a ripoff in Canada, but Im thinking that even with mazdas canada inflated price on brakes, i'll end up getting them cheaper and faster locally

UPS always charges broker fees, even if the truck isnt pulled over at the border.
I got hit double because I ordered a shipment from racing beat,
and they split it up.

I away ask for USPS just $5 Handling and GST/PST on declared value. ask seller to sent it as samples or just state the replacement cost. Last time I got anything thru UPS brokerage fee was $45.

mmm $5 or $45 I'll pay the taxes I'd pay if I bought it here in CANADA my home and native land and on and on.
