Hi there, I'm going to be a new owner real soon here. Waiting til' the end of the year dealer steals.

A few immediate plans of mine are to incorporate a carputer. I'd like to see pictures of the glove box. I plan on popping an ITX computer or a ezgo pc such as the Mocha.

Still contemplating the NAV system because I will end up replacing the LCD w/ a touchscreen model. However I haven't seen any way to get the nifty motorized in-dash parts required to do this with an RX w/out NAV already. Regardless I have a friend very experienced in cutting/modding vehicles and myself as a I.T. worker.

Any pictures and ideas would be appreciated.

think twice about the touch screen. If you put the display where the built-in goes, it's quite a reach. Maybe a passenger could do it ok. I can operator by touch with my right hand, keeping my eyes on the road. Your call... if you have the skills, the time and the money you could probably make a kickass system with nav, video, backup cam, etc.

About the glove box, go to a dealer. There's gotta be a zillion around San Raphael and you can take measurements while you're there. Good luck!
