With all the color options available what color will your RX-8 be?

I for one can't decide between the Black, Titanium, and the Blue. I wish that there were some more pictures of those cars.

I'm getting the blue PROVIDED it looks like the blue on the Mazda6, or even the ones shown in the other forum where the picture of the color was taken at the NAIAS.

If it looks like it does online, then I'll just get black with a red interior.

Almost certain it's the titanium with tan inserts. Wish I could see one first, though :(

It's a tough call between titanium gray and black. The gray does show the lines of the car better, but the black seems like it has more visceral appeal. I'm undecided and I hope to see both colors at the Chicago auto show next month.

I do not see Silver as an option on the ordering page. Is that for Canada only?

I updated my choice -- black.

The blue is just too light to appreciate. I was hoping for a 350Z or even Mazda6 blue.

Just got back from Detroit. The pictures Boowana submitted of the Titanium car are excellent, and in my opinion represent the colour of the car very very well. If you like the colour of the car in those pictures, you will like it at least equally in real life. Additionally, the brown inserts look surprisingly good wrt the interior.

First choice: Velocity Red GT
2nd Choice: Brillant Black GT
3rd Choice: Lightning Yellow GT

These 3 are always interchanging.... yellow is one color I've never owned..

I'll take all 3 please.....after I loot the Super 7...

Greetings!

Titanium is the color for me too! :)
A nice balance between not to dark and not too light. I believe the leather inserts can look good in both red/tan and all black.

You can really see the lines of the car in daylight (www.webcg.net):

You are in NJ too right? I'm thinking about going with the Blue, my I think it looks pretty hot in blue in the pictures, and my g/f loves blue so we both win...but I haven't seen it in person. What car could I look at to get a good idea of what blue it is...or better yet where can I see it?!? Pics? Shit, I have to get to the dealer soon and drop my grand hehe.

I cannot believe that there are only two votes for the yellow.

Ok, now I'm torn again- I thought I wanted green, but looking at my NAIAS pictures again, the black is SO nice- I just don't want to be washing it every other day. I'm going to go order on Saturday, so I guess I should make up my mind soon....

I wonder if the yellow would be more popular if it was metallic, instead of the flat yellow...

You'll all be sorry when you see your first rx8 in yellow - don't say that you haven't been warned... ;)

Just changed from Black to Silver today. Really thought about the Titanium and hope I don't regret not getting it.

How come all this choice?

My dealer in the UK is offering only 4 colours (vel red, black, tit grey and silver)? Surely the boat from Japan is the same?

Also, what are 'inserts'?

I think with tit grey interior is black only or........?

The yellow was the first 8 that I saw and it is simply OUTSTANDING!!! Believe me when I tell you that you will not regret your choice... the pictures simply do not do the colour justice... :D

Hm, look in the europe forum for discussion on what options we europeans may get...

Anyway, I think it's two differet boats... One boat go via africa to europe. The one to america has just the pacific ocean to cross. :)
