On the inside of an Rx8 there's all the silver pieces that are trimming, like around the air con vents, were the cd player is theres 2 silver trimming pieces running parallel to eachother on either side of the volume. Running down the middle were the E brake is and Auto/Manual transmission, on either side there are 2 silver trimming linings about 2 inches thick and a few feet long from front seats to back seats. The Trimming around the spedometer is all silver, i think you get the idea by now.

What i want to do is take all that trimming off, paint it a diff color than put it back on, my question is has anbody ever done this before? And if so are there any precautions i need to take whilst doing it... for example : "Theres bolts behind object A and B" or theres secret little latches you gota release before trying to take it off...IE the center of the car on both sides of were the ebrake and auto/manual is located.

Much appreciated with feed back if anybody has ever done this or tried this or thought of doing it =D

Alright so... the center strips DEFINITELY HAVE to be bolted on or some shit i was messing around with it last night... they are pretty locked on, as for the spedo trim, that partially comes off, i think it might be glued on atm, or it might have 1 of those cheapo plastic clip in the hole things randomly places around it
