View Full Version : BRIDE Seats and Rails SALE!!!!!
Works Concepts 04-27-2009, 05:32 AM We've got a huge sale on BRIDE seats with insane low pricing. This sale is open to all BRIDE seats including CFRP seats. Some seats are in stock, but most are a special order and normally take about 8 weeks for delivery. These seats are perfect for those looking to gain head room compared to the stock seat setup. The seating position will be quite a bit lower with the normal seat/rail setup and a lot lower with a low max seat/rail.
We only sell authentic BRIDE seats.

rx8thunder 04-27-2009, 06:06 AM Love the idea of having a more race oriented seat but can't decide which one to get without sitting in them all. Will have to try to find a local dealer...

ODDDOOD 05-21-2009, 03:18 PM Just wondering how much lower these will sit when compared to stock cloth seats (recliner only)? I would like a couple extra inches in order to fit with a helmet on. I imagine the "Low Max" seats are able to drop the most?
Thanks in advance!
Salamanth 05-21-2009, 04:17 PM The LowMax setup has rails that mount on the side of the seat rather than the underside IIRC, you'll sit pretty darn low. My buddy has a pair in his prelude and they're a good inch and a half lower than stock.
Whats the difference between the GIAS, GIAS II and GIAS Sport models? Couldn't find the info elsewhere.
Can I get pricing on a single and a pair of GIAS II Sports shipped to 21084 (in full black leather if you have it)? Are the rails bolt up on the 8?
TY in advance.

Yes, the regular BRIDE seats you will sit a bit lower, and the low max ones are quite a bit lower. I would say over 2" lower with the low max. The difference between the Sport and regular GIAS is one is FRP and the other is CFRP. The GIAS II has an improved reclining feature vs the GIAS. PM'd you with pricing.

Thanks

Glad to see you like it, and the rail should be following shortly.
nuke0907 08-26-2009, 06:23 PM did you get the Gias II in gradation fabric? could you post some pics?
epikeddie 08-26-2009, 07:49 PM Just for you guys to ponder.....
I had a full Spec-Miata-type roll cage that was fabricated and installed in my Miata. I had issues of clearing the roll bar with a standard seat or even the Sparco seats I had before.
I switched to the Low Max VIOS III seats with the Type LF Rails from Bride and they were significantly lower. About 2" and I no longer had an issue with the helmet clearing the cage.
Great seats......Eric....you'll see my order as soon as I take care of my ignition issues. I would probably go with the VIOS III seats again as they were SOOOO comfortable when compared with the Zeta III seats.
I guess it was the shape....

Yes, those wanting the lowest seating position with a drop in install, BRIDE is the way to go. Thanks for the feedback.
traveler027 09-03-2009, 08:30 AM Eric,
Thanks for all your help for getting the seat & rail to me so quickly. The seat fit the 8 perfectly. With couple of inches of additional head room, it is much easier to drive with a helmet on. And the seat holds me in the car through corners like a dream. I am going to have so much more fun at the next DE. Great product & great service!!

Thanks for the feedback about the amount of headroom you gain. Its quite a bit, and BRIDE is really the only bolt on setup that give you that much room.

That is the GIAS in black logo, or some people also call the color black hyper.
nuke0907 12-11-2009, 07:26 PM ok thanks. its nice to see other options in an RX8.
traveler027 12-12-2009, 09:34 PM This is an awesome seat. One day I spent about 2.5 hour on a track & I did not have to worry about holding myself in position while driving. I had so much fun because I could focus all my effort on driving faster around the track. This is one of my favorite mods this year.

ganseg 12-22-2009, 11:34 PM After I specify my car, (2004 RX-8), your site only lists two seats. Assuming all the ones on P1 will fit, what is the difference between a $900 low max and a $1500 low max? The ones on your site are both hyper low. How much lower than the low max are they? Thanks.

If you specify your car you have to "show universals" since the seats are not car specific, only the rails. Its probably best to view the seats with no car entered if you are having a problem. If you let me know what seat you are looking at I would be able to tell you the difference in price.
djcharlee 12-26-2009, 02:40 AM Is there any listing of seat size. I wear size 40" Pants. i want a seat I can comfortably fit in. Any suggestions?
