If it is uneven, at low speeds it may be causing it to "push" the car in a direction. dozer 04-23-2009, 03:18 PM well if there some kinda hard pull (ive experienced it) i think you got condensation in your PS connector, thus resulting in the little metal prongs getting corroded, thus resulting in a faulty connection solution - get under your hood, remove the airbox and the plate that holds it underneath it...you will see the connector right under it, and right above the radiator...pull it apart and use some electronic cleaner (you know that stuff to dust off keyboards and sh*t) spray some on the metal prongs and dab some antisieze on em...plug back together and put everything back...you should be fine hdready 04-23-2009, 03:21 PM I have had tire alignment it didnt help. No power steering light either. dozer 04-23-2009, 03:22 PM ^i think its about to go the route i talked about...mine did the EXACT same thing...just try cleanin it out a lil Nubo 04-24-2009, 05:43 PM well if there some kinda hard pull (ive experienced it) i think you got condensation in your PS connector, thus resulting in the little metal prongs getting corroded, thus resulting in a faulty connection solution - get under your hood, remove the airbox and the plate that holds it underneath it...you will see the connector right under it, and right above the radiator...pull it apart and use some electronic cleaner (you know that stuff to dust off keyboards and sh*t) spray some on the metal prongs and dab some antisieze on em...plug back together and put everything back...you should be fine Or, if you are familiar with splicing wires, you can cut the connector out altogether, and solder the wires directly. If the problem was the connector, this will fix it permanently. Cleaning reseating and tweaking was only a temporary fix for me. jmc23200 04-27-2009, 10:09 AM When in doubt, solder, super glue and duck tape is all you need. |
