Was wondering if anyone knew whether the window on the info display (Radio station, amb. temp, vent settings) is just regular plastic (of if there is a cover). I've got a couple scratches on mine that I noticed a couple weeks after I took delivery that I'd like to get rid of, and wanted to know if there are any opinions on the best way to try to get rid of them. Should I try a plastic polish like Novus, or could this screw up whatever that material is? Thanks for any thoughts.

Check around in the Show and Shine section. Seems like someone else had the same problem a few weeks back, although I don't recall what their final resolution was.

Yeah, I went there and saw the thread to which you are referring, but there was no resolution. I was hoping that since there is a great deal more traffic going on in "Discussion" (and this topic qualifies), maybe I'd be able to get some ideas. Thanks, tho, man.

I have a feeling that the window is plastic. Jewlers rouge (fine) is what I used to take a pretty good scratch out of the plastic bezel of my Suunto wristwatch. Worked great!!! Meguiar's "Mirror Glaze" clear plastic polish is another possible solution. I've used this product on the Lexan windshield of my motorcycle and yellowing headlight lenses on previous vehicles. I hope this helps!
