I have a 04 and my starter is starting to go under. Is this still under warrenty?

Depends on when your 04 was sold. The basic warranty will expire four years after the date of sale.

always thought their arrangements odd. 4yrs/50k, 8yrs/100k. they expect people to drive more per year i guess, cant figure out who the works out for honestly. most others are 5/50, 8/80, 10/100 etc, altho thats just basic that is numbered weird for mazda, powertrain i believe is 6/60...altho it may be 5/60k which would again be odd, emissions in nj is 8/80k at my dealer at least.
