Recently, one of my friends told me that my rx-8 is more of a "chick car." I got really pissed and said that it is more of a chick magnet than a chick car. I just wanted to see if it is true that this car is owned by more women than men

There is a thread called "Chick Magnet' the thrust of which is, 99 percent of the people who come up to talk about the car are guys, not chix. What a letdown! I mean, it's great to have the admiration of one's fellow man, but other than eclips, not exactly the effect many of us were hoping for.

How about "A chick who's bf bought me the '8 and I'm driving it for free." There's a few of them around.

i wouldn't say it's just a female car...i used to drive a 3rd generation eclipse..and everyone would say it's a chick car..but most of the guys i met on the forum were men...actually out of like 30 of the guys in florida that i'd hang out with..i was the only chick i can remember that had an eclipse...

i examine mine everyday....errr washed mine yesterday..today i parked it at work..larger parking spots so no one dinks the car..and the lawn guys decided to mow the lawn...now my car is blue/green :(

Well if I saw an Rx-8 around me I would come up to you for sure to check it out! I think more guys are into it than woman...Im just going by all of my male friends who said they will marry me if I buy the 8 lol.

lol i mow my own lawn.... its obvious there's more guys then girls that are into cars...but i've always been up for learning..in my other car..i used to drive to orlando...jacksonville...even up to gainsville which is 9 hrs from me...to join the car crew...

only thing i hate abt this car is the pmts ...lol

You're so right... I get every guy on the fucking road checking out the car and a very small percentage of girls looking...

My best story is a female cop pulled me over and flirted with me... she told me she liked the car and was a car lover, and an 300z. She wasn't bad looking either. She let me go and no ticket.. hehe

guys are just more obvious than girls...it's just like...lets say u're at the beach..u have hot men..and hot woman...the men are more likely to make it obvious that they think a chick is hot...a female would most likely think "damn i wish i was in them pants" then to say it to their face...

hahah when i was pulled over by a female..she asked me if i had gold teeth..tattoo's...what my race was..lol i was like..umm wtf? the other cop told me she was in training..i guess i got 2 tickets from her cuz i was a smartass...damn i hate getting pulled over by female cops :)
