I'm in Queens and would love to meet up more often with some NY people.

Like most people in NYC, I hate driving to NJ. Cross Bronx traffic is too slow and pothole pitted for group cruise and tolls suck.

If a bunch of NYC guys could agree to actually meet up I'd be down. Multi ethnic meeting places are cool - kind of a theme drink/food night.

Queens is good, but nothing to do or hang out lol

Although I wouldn't mind a BBQ event at Flushing Meadows.

your taking the wrong Highway into NJ... NEVER TAKE THE cross bronx... You want to take the 87 (Deegan). Me and driftking make it to the Tuesday meets in 20 to 30mins

Hmmm... :eyetwitch I'm in Bayside so I usually take the Throgs Neck Bridge to the Cross Bronx. Are you saying that if I take the GCP all the way over the Triborough Bridge then get to 87 it's much faster to cross the GW Bridge?

Funny story. So on the weekends I tow for an Auto Body shop. Well this weekend I had to tow a Hertz rent a car to Port Newark. My wife wanted to go so I said sure, gives me some company for the ride. Once we get down there we rolled the windows down being it was cooling off, then all of a sudden this god awful smell comes in the cab. My wife goes what the hell is that, I replied New Jersey. LOL Really we were next to a sewer plant but the timing was spot on for a Jersey joke.

i would say so....
the 87 is rarely packed, cause everyone uses the crossbronx to get into NJ..the 87 is used more for going upstate.
As for the smell theres nothing i could do there, sorry...:icon_no2: Theres certain rotarys that if you follow behind youll wish they smelled like jersey....

whats goody ppl.........came back from binghamton on sunday and i bless my 8 with its 1st speeding ticket in PA...:banghead: shit doing 85mph on a 65mph zone( the 8 wanted me to push it more pluss heavy footed)... ..... but i didnt see the cops between the 2 trucks going about 65-75mph and it was only 2 lanes so i went around BUT at least he didnt give me 2 points.....:) but it was a nice drive i had a great time and the gas was Full when i left from Queens and when i got to my Destination (229miles) i had a Quarter left ....
