Now after about 3 days and about 200 miles, the pops don't come unless I'm high in the rpms, then dropping the rpms before shifting. God of Thunder 05-30-2004, 08:32 PM The Borla takes a while to settle in. There are some days that it just pops all of the time. mysql101 05-31-2004, 03:22 PM I have now driven it another 100 miles, and it doesn't pop or burble at all anymore unless I rev it up to 7000+ rpms then let it drop down to 5000 or lower. Would the 98 degree weather be causing this? spank1 06-21-2004, 10:02 PM borla borla borla morriesmazda 11-19-2004, 07:58 PM Okay, where do I go to listen to the sound track of the Borla exhaust system? How does it compare with the system that is produced by Racing Beat or even Mazda Speed? Is the quality good? Is there a warranty on the system and what is the cost? Looking for some real honest answers before I make any purchase. Thanks, guys! It sounds great thou!! eddybear 03-21-2008, 03:18 PM So is the best option still the Borla paired with a B&B Catless midpipe for those who have no legal limitations where that is concerned? I am still undecided, the HKS and Borla sound more or less the same to me, which si deeper? I want the deepest richest sounding one and the HP Gains as well... 20+ Pages and still undecided, I am ashamed of my noobness... :) mysql 03-21-2008, 03:32 PM I've owned the borla, the hks legamax, and the hks hi power. the borla is the deepest sounding. But it's also quite a bit louder than the legamax. The legamax has the nice situation of having a nice note on the throttle, but quiet otherwise. the hi power is the loudest, but it's not deep at all, it's just noisy and sounds like a civic with a hole in the muffler. so pick whatever fits your needs best. eddybear 03-21-2008, 04:20 PM Which one you got now... and were any of them noticeable HP gains? mysql 03-21-2008, 05:48 PM legamax now. no way to tell if there are gains because the dyno done with the borla had a smaller turbo then now with the legamax. |
