Hey everybody,

I am looking to upgrade my rad to a Mishimoto unit and I was wondering if anyone has installed one on their car. I hear really great things about their no-questions-asked warranty and their customer service, but haven't heard much about their actual product for the RX-8. If anyone has any experience with it let me know, it is much appreciated.

Someone has it, You can search.

and Warranty is ONLY 1 year.

This car's radiator is pretty tricky. So its not just "up the size" and u will get better cooling. stock Radiator is actually not bad. Even tho its all plastic on the side.

If you want Upgrade, Get BHR/Griffin or Mazmart/Ron Davis.

Or you can try some Japanese ones, but the price alone will rape you.

Just because I'm new doesn't mean I don't know how to search. All I found were threads about their intakes and vendor threads selling the rads. Regardless, I'm upgrading because I am looking to boost in the near future, my local shop suggested the Mishi rad but I just wanted input from actual RX8 owners who ran it.

looks like i may end up with this, if no-one has already made contact with them right after you made this post.

wtf, lol!... its kinda funny after looking into the parts. the free radiator is only a display unit to hold business cards.

well...due to its smaller size, it can be modified into smaller cars maybe???

whatevers... already signed up anyways:dunno:

lots of good advice here. all the other aftermarket rads have shown to be the same or worse than the stock one.

Definitely post up pics. Mishi has a good reputation for customer service, so they should be pretty helpful as well.
