RX8 day at the dealership!
Well good friday is a holiday for some, but we were here at 1030am working on race cars! The #01 car ran for 2 hours straight, we set the leading and trailing timing learned that it is possible to burn 25 litres of fuel in 2 hours without moving or dynoing a car! After running the car for 2 hours we did a compression check and got our desired result.............perfectly even compression between both rotor housings, now we are ready for April 24 testing at Shannonville!
It was RX8 day at Scarboro Mazda (lol) Thief, Rev Illusions, Prospectjtaz and Rotary Greg all showed up....and Thief actually washed his car! Rev has spent the better part since 12 noon detailing lol. Jay and Greg were working on Gregs car, it was kinda cool...........even like the old days when I was a kid, we would all hang out at a shop, each of us doing our own thing with our cars.......who says you cant go back.

Al, you joked about phoning the police to let them know i was coming...but did you actually do it? 
when i left, there was an unmarked cruiser sitting there just past the side entrance to the dealer. I had to stop at the lights there to turn right onto lawrence and he stared at me the hole time. lol. It was so hard to keep the car quite when i took off. I thought for sure i was gonna get pulled over though.
As for the results, the power is back...but there is still a rattle/growl noise at WOT over 5 grand....plus, my car sounds aweful and stinks! lol
as for rx8 day at the dealership, it was actually fun hanging out there workin' away while everyone was on their own little projects. thanks again Al

wasn't planned.. just sorta happened. You know... they just went to "meet up".. and they bought him acouple drinks... and before you know it... Josh's head dissappeared under the table.....
