I work for LaMonica's Restaurant Equipment Svc. We fix the ovens mostly. The love to break those oven doors. 9 time out of ten when they call I can predict it.

I used to fix the stuff now I do the dispatching now. I always hated going out the jobs, customers were asshole, getting burned by 400 degrees fryer grease being dropped on you. Carrying a 100 lbs microwave across a wet kitchen and falling down with the micro on top of me. Fuck that.:icon_no2:

Its in the schedule guys, I will be there at 2... with my snow tires still on... with a broken motor mount... and a broken throw out bering... and I need a new starter motor... shit... I need a vacation lol...

I'll be there at 2:00 myself, provided I don't get called in for some emergency at work. Not out of the realm of possibility.

My new case of premix just arrived, sent UPS from Mazdatrix, with invoice and my copy of the charge slip. The total is $69.58, so an increase of $9.71 per case over last year. I can't lay my hands on last year's invoice, so I can't say if some of the increase was due to higher shipping charges. It was $13 to ship this year, with a $1 handling charge.

So, here are the numbers:

$69.58/case = 5.80/qt. = $1.45/tank @ 8 oz./tank.

I use about 6 oz./tank = $1.09/tank.

But yes I'll be selling a quart for $6 just because I don't want to pack a bunch of dimes. :D

Ya know how ur fog lights only turn on when your headlights are on? well thats dumb and defeats the purpose of "FOG" Lights . . So i did a quick relay rewire so that once your parking lights are on you can turn on your fog lights :) . . . if you wanna do it to your car bring it over tonight it will take like two seconds and I got a spare connector for it :)

Long story short, when I live in florida I pretty much lost my job, couldnt afford my house and have late payments and am in the process of giving back the deed so my credit is pretty terrible. Any of you guys know any dealerships that do like in house financing or some other way to manage getting another car? haha dont need anything great although we want something half way decent (civic or something most likely although we would really love an xterra or something of that nature)

I had horrible credit when I went to get my 8 at CarMax, when everyone turned me down before, even the people who said 'We approved anyone, no person turned away." Well I was told I had to shitty of credit for even them. You could try there, also Riverton Hyundai/Suzuki does financing with Cyprus Credit Union and they are pretty good at getting people approved. I would try CarMax first. Hell I still have shitty credit, even though I have paid early on every single payment.

Be aware though, that with bad credit, even if you get a loan, you'll probablty be paying double-digit interest rates.

If this is for a basic-transportation car, finance as little as possible. Forget the Xterra, get a Pontiac and get your finances back together.

yeah I am going for something cheaper. I would love an xterra but I know its not the smartest thing to do. Honestly my bill load now is ALL together less then just my mtg payment was before and my income is higher then it ever was so in reality I can afford a bit more then the banks apparently trust me with haha. I think im going to go buy a beeter for 1-2k and drive it for a year and hopefully the credit will impove a bit

Credit is a scam/rip off, I agree. A job loss can fuck you for YEARS where the previous three years I have had 2 car loans and several credit cards with PERFECT payments and low balances. takes a few months to ruin 3 years worth of building up and now it will take 5 years just to get back where I was.

My 8 is my weekend car- I drive a '91 Explorer the rest of the week, and all winter long. Of course, I bought it BN in '91, but now it's a rusted-out POS. I can't replace it for what it's worth, so I'll keep driving it until it falls apart...then probably get a Yaris or something similar, lol.

So now here I am with a terrible credit score at 21 years old, thank god im young enough to rebuild it at a reasonable age, to bad I have no patients though haha.

I filled up on the usual Chevron premium and put in 8oz of premix. Havent been far yet though. I'll definitely let ya'll know if I notice a difference. Hopefully it will help sedate the wooky under my hood.

Weel, Mazda has my car. They found 2 of the coils I just installed were bad! So they are replacing them and the doing a compression test. More info tomorrow morning. Keep your fingers crossed!!

BTW, I had mine inspected yesterday so I could renew my registration. I took it to D. Dahle, had them change the oil while they were at it.

When I went out to drive home after they finished, I found that they had broken my center console lid! I stormed back in there and made them replace it immediately. They did it right there in front of the service-writer's desk. Idiots! And they put a big smudge on my windshield, I'm gessing when they put the oil-change sticker on the windshield.

This is the first less-than-satisfactory experience I've had at a Mazda dealer. I'm going to include it in the questionaire that comes from Mazda after each service visit. No excuses.

D. Dahle is the worse place for any mazda to be taken inn for service (from my own experience with my 3 mazdas) maybe that is where my center console broke from :( :rant:

Well, I had to stand my ground. His easiest route was to make me happy immediately.

I bought my car from Legacy. They were giving me free oil changes, but it cost me a lot of gas and time to get there. When they folded, I went to Bountiful and D.Dahle. Freeway Mazda is too far to go for me- further than Legacy was.

This is the first time D. Dahle has exhibited a problem. They've always accommodated me on my terms, and really, they did do what I asked them to do on the console lid, so I can't be too unhappy with them.

Waving my extended warranty under their noses is usually all I need to do. I paid 2 grand for that sucker and I'm going to make sure I didn't throw my money away!

BTW, guys, I'm looking seriously at the Mazdaspeed exhaust. The one with two little mufflers, not the one big one like stock. Anybody heard one of those?

My GReddy SP2 has dual mufflers and cost 1/3 of what the MS cost :)FYI

You won't notice anything until you've run at least a tank through there, but save it for your new engine anyway.

I do like the sound of the Greddy, but I'm stuck on Mazda. It means "no hassle" on any warranty issues, and they even warranty their install. This is probably the last brand-new car I will ever buy and it's going to last me into retirement and beyond. 20 years from now, having it all Mazda will keep the value higher.

I'm looking at the "Sport Exhaust", part no. GRMS-8M-K06, $785, $90 labor, + tax. About an hour install, so I can wait for it. Getting the old exhaust home might be fun...I may have to send up the company pickup truck to get it.

I may order it this week; they pull stock from California and it takes about 5 working days to arrive. I guess no Mazdaspeed parts are carried in the Denver warehouse.

I just ordered some new motor mounts from Mazda, There is a new TSB out for them, looks like they changed the rubber material they are used, if anyone is wondering the cost is $250.16 for the mounts with tax and some shipping they are coming from Cali.

I was quoted $110 for install. But after seeing how easy it is, I think I'll save my money.

A BN RX-7 in '79 cost me $10,300.00 out the door. Wish we could get a BN RX-8 for that today, lol.

What years does that TSB cover? I can't find it for 2007. There are only 3 for 2007 models, and 2 of them are actually the same thing (plastic insert for front stabilizer control link ball joint), the other one is the trunk switch.

I think it will- if your clutch pedal bracket is sound. That's great that the warranty is covering it. :) I love warranties!

This is all coming together nicely. Now I have to make sure I get that new exhaust installed next week, and almost all of us will have our cars in great shape for a meet on the 21st or 28th. :cool:
