Houston RX-7 Club Meeting : Tuesday, January 6th

Our first club meeting of the year is going to be a SHOOTOUT!

But, not in the conventional sense The Houston RX-7 Club will head to the Davy Jones Kartzone facility for some fast fun around the indoor track at one of the best karting facilities in the US! We are going to try and have a gran prix type event.

Come out and enjoy some wheel to wheel action or cheer on your favorite driver this will be a great event for everyone!

When : January 6th at 7:00 PM - Races start about 7:45 PM - If you are racing be inside and registered by 7:30 or earlier!

Prices finalized:

$30 (includes qualifier+race+final) (basically 3 runs)
+$7 (license fee- note sometimes the machine is out of order, if so there is no cost)

we are still working on getting a group deal on some pizza to be trucked in :)

I really need to get some RSVP's to figure out the rest of the arrangements.. so who is in?

Just wanted to let you know that me (Carolyn) and Alan are coming. I won't be driving, no money :(, but I would like to meet whoever will be there. Could you PM me so we can figure out who you are when we get there?

Meet at 7PM (or before) for chit chat.. the racers will begin racing after 7:30pm.

Lori and I should be there as early as 6:30.


Since we never got a lot of interest in Pizza, Lori volunteered to make us a hotdog dinner/picnic with chips, potato salad, and more. (Donations will be accepted)

I have not gone but my friends say Kartzone is a blast.

I will try to make it but I go out of town Weds so I don't know if I can spare the time.

I have another group of friends going on Weds which I obviously can't make so this means I have to decline two Kartzone invites in the same week. Arrrggggh.
