I prefer peripheral even if it means travelling. I don't want to waste time suck in traffic and having cars in various spots.

Templestowe is close to the city ... it's clean, it's easy, it's got parking everywhere, no riff raff and minimal supervision from the fuzz.

Google Maps is telling me that there are not many car parks around that la porchetta restaurant(is this the right place??), but the area looks nice (and quiet), good choice!

Google maps is showing its deficiencies. It hasn't been a la porchetta for over 12 months now.

You are however correct that parking is limited in the actual carpark. Next door there is plenty of room to park.

I was lucky enough to ride in one yesterday. Sounded and went nuts and it has now inspired me to do many illegal things* to raise the cash for one.

Sorry i didnt make it guys, my girlfriend decided to get into a car accident after work, it was only a rear ender (the other ladys fault) but she was a little emotional about it all and i needed to be there
