I just had my 2004 8 towed into the dealer due to my keys not working and they called saying it is one of the models with the lose of power recall on it. Now my question is has anyone else had a car with this recall and what will they do?? I know its probaly a stupid question but you guys have always help me out and i was just hoping someone would shed some light on my situation... Thank You in advance... I forgot to add one other problem before i lost the key codes the engine would not start at all tried 3 differnt deflooding teqs.. sorry..

 

Since your 8 is most likely out of the bumper to bumper warranty they are referring to the 4206F thing. You can search for it if you have any more questions. Can't hurt getting it done.
