So we had a little meet over here in Miami tonight. Thanks to all that showed up. Made for a nice chat, and it's always pretty to see 8 RX-8's lined up with different mods. None of the pics I took looks any good really, so I will concentrate on the mini clips. These are all taken with a digicam again. Couldnt get a vid camera in time, but they sound pretty decent me thinks.

tommy12b had his black 8 with clear corners and painted calipers. Those red calipers on the black look so nice. I am gonna try it sometime down the road. I definitly liked it in person. We also had that red 8 with the 19 inch wheels? (sorry bro, forgot your board name) He also did the billet grill look and it is SO nice in person. I have the material but was kinda lazy/ran out of time today, but I am doing it tomorrow for sure. I loved it. I have some so-so pics of it if anybody wants, I'll post those later. He also had the intake. lourx8, bridged13b also showed with their red and black cars. I so wish the damn pics didnt come out blurry!

after hearing the sound clip of the rotary extreme intake, i can understand why customers have been saying the high rpm howl is quite loud. it sounds pretty badass if you ask me, and some cash is burning a hole in my pocket if you know what i mean.

Let it burn some more, I posted my customer report on the RE intake thread...its simply incredible!!!!!!!

I figured quicktime was a free dl for anybody so it's the most universal format really.

The R-E gets alittle muffled with the hood down, but it's still sounds very nice even so. It was a total surprise the first time he revved it up let me tell ya.

If anyone wants to send me the wav files for each exhaust

i can make a flash soundboard interface for direct comparison and update as new exhaust sound clips get made. That way new buyers can really compare.

The gap seems too big to me like that.

Althought with the rx-8 badge being a glue on I might try that too :D DAMMIT! I need like 29 hours a day, and to think I am on vacation right now! Sheesh!

Bottom right is the vivid racing rx8 its sounds AWSOME!!!

I just added the testpipe and the car is definitely runs a lot harder now. The pipe installed perfect but it was causing an annoying sound in the exhaust. On Saturday, a resonator was installed and corrected the issue. Without a doubt, you have to add a resonator to the "vivid racing" testpipe. Overall, I am really impressed with the quality and fitting of the testpipe.

Also, I had the opportunity to run a 350z on Saturday and I pulled a good car on him. Now, the car feels a lot stronger after 6.000 RPM. The guys was so mad that it was funny.

how long did it take to install the test pipe? Do you plan on switching it out when you take it in for servicing?

Just intake and testpipe......The testpipe install was about one hour and the 02 simulator was about 1/2 hour. The pipe will stay on the car for regular service. I will take it off only if major warranty work is needed.

are you going to put an exhaust on it also? by the way email me so i can give you my cell and we get together i have to hear that thing
